The HR Project Consultant role is accountable for leading and implementing projects and/or operational processes to achieve both long and short-term objectives of Eli Lilly Japan in partnership with business. This also includes working in the team of HR professionals across HR value chains to ensure that the right organizational capabilities, leadership, and talent are in place. The responsibilities also include ensuring that employees in the supporting functions are engaged, motivated, and appropriately rewarded. This role is expected to work across the organizations to drive business results and collaborate with subject matter experts in across HR value chain to ensure that the policies, programs, and plans best serve the needs of the business they support.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Title : Sr. Manager-HR-Project
Although projects will vary based on the strategy and needs of the business, the consultant role is to lead/co-lead with others in the HR team to deliver the followings:
Support organizational staffing goals through identification, development, and retention of high-performing employees
Facilitate and provide advice for strong talent management processes for the respective functions to build the future generation of all-star leaders
Execute the organization plan with leaders for creating practices and habits which embrace and lead with diversity and inclusion
Support organizations to leverage maximize performance management and Lilly’s total reward tools to reward and to recognize great performances and to elevate performance
Partner with business leaders to lead projects across Eli Lilly Japan in support of the change agenda
Partner with the business leaders to develop and progress a strategic workforce plan, including a retention plan, inclusive of training, development and mentoring of high-achieving employees
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree with HR experience.
HR experience outside of recruiting required. Line HR experience preferable.
Strong written and oral communication in both Japanese and English
