●KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead，manage and coordinate SRA support for innovation and compliance projects，represent SRA function in charters and act as SRA interface with innovation teams
Review and approve product formulations and ingredients through the established Company’s processes (Clarity，PICASSO，PARs，etc.)for technical compliance with regional and BU regulations and Company policies
Prepare and approve labels (text and visuals)and other communication materials required for Innovation projects.
Support and lead as appropriate the claims generation and substantiation process ensuring submission and aiming to conclude on scientifically substantiated ideal claims translated into consumer language.
Prepare and approve through the Communication Requiring Substantiation (CRS)process the technical claims on product labels，Company advertising and other materials.
Collaborate closely with R&D to facilitate appropriate SRA inputs into the product development area in an efficient and timely manner ensuring local specifics are captured in initial stage of formulae development.
Collaborate with Quality for product，technologies and ingredient assessment for new and existing products.

-This communication is typically to convey regulatory requirements and involves communication across many operations and countries at various levels in the organisations.
・This communication is with a variety of stakeholders，including Suppliers，Agencies，Regulatory authorities，Religious authorities，NGO and Industry Associations.
・The impact of this role is high in business because innovation and compliance is the basis of successfully marketing any of our products.
・This role includes identification of innovations and competitive advantage opportunities in regards to ingredients，product and communications.
・Managing product approval and regulatory compliance to meet new product development timelines through working with above stakeholders -regulatory authorities，bottler，marketing，legal，PAC etc.
・Managing protection of our subsidiary trade secrets (product formulations and flavour information)while dealing with regulatory authorities.
●JUDGMENT AND DECISION MAKING
High level of accountability for decision making，i.e.
・Final sign-off on ingredients and products in terms of legality for all BU markets
・Final approval of labels and product claims and communication for all BU markets
・Preparation of risk assessments to enable the business for decision-making
・A mistake could result in reputational and cost implications to the business
・Identify opportunities to leverage innovations in terms of ingredients，products and communications (claims)in order to stimulate growth and gain a competitive advantage for our business
・Recommend new systems/processes to better deliver product innovation strategy and process
・Managing ingredient，product，packaging，claims and communication approvals
・Work with government bodies to facilitate the process of registration and work to remove regulatory barriers affecting our product
・Provide recommendation to technical/SRA to obtain product approval and claims for compliance with local regulations and international food law

・Regulatory Landscape:Knowledge of the regulatory and political landscape (e.g.，regulations，issues)affecting food and beverages in the Business Unit.It also includes the ability to manage complex regulatory issues affecting products，ingredients，packages or claims.
・Food Safety/Toxicology:Basic understanding of the nature，properties，effects，and detection of toxic substances in food，and their disease manifestation particularly chemicals of food interest such as food additives and pesticides，and how they are tested and regulated.
・Nutrition Science:Basic understanding of nutrition science including how dietary patterns influence health and well-being，biological mechanisms through which nutrients affect metabolism，dietary patterns，activity levels and related medical conditions particularly obesity and NCDs.
・Regulatory Affairs:Ability to interact with government officials to represent the Company or beverage industry while explaining complex scientific data，reports or issues.This includes the ability to anticipate issues or concerns of interest to public health officials in order to respond to those concerns and the ability to advocate a position in a non-adversarial manner (e.g.，during dispute resolution).

【RELATED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS】
Minimum of 10 -12 years product compliance，commercialization and innovation in the food，beverage or pharmaceutical industry.
・Master’s degree in Food Science or Nutrition or related science background.PhD a plus
・Must be fluent in English.Fluency in one of the local languages in the BU is a plus.
・Ability to work in multi-lingual environment
